Game of Thrones finished

It took close to three months, but the first book of Song of Ice and Fire was re-read and covered on this blog.
Hope you liked it. I enjoyed it immensely. Covering the book on pages of this blog let me understand and appreciate the book better than before.
I’m really looking forward to reading next books. In my previous attempts to re-read the whole series I often failed to go through all the books, which resulted in knowing the first book really well and the follow ups not that well. The deeper I go into the series, the closer I come to “reading it for the first time”.
I’m sure it’s going to be interesting.
If you enjoy following my experience with SoIaF feel free to leave a comment, or even better, share it with your friends! Nothing motivates me more than knowing that someone finds my work valuable.
Now, on to A Clash Of Kings!

Thank you for the re-reads so much. I finally made it through this book and I’m glad I did. It was very much like literature for me instead of a fantasy novel so it took time, but I certainly can’t wait for the next book.

Great job so far! Thank you a lot, I really enjoyed it. I started re-reading the books a few months ago (currently at A Storm of Swords) and it’s really nice to see other opinions of their re-read. Keep it comming!

Congratulations for your blog!! I enjoyed reading your comments about Game of Thrones. I also started re-reading two months ago and I am currently at Storm, too. I hope I can continue reading your opinions about Clash soon. Greetings from Spain.

Thanks guys!
I just finished writing about the Prologue of A Clash of Kings. As the story gets more complex I notice I spend more time writing commentaries because of all the theory-crafting.
Re-reading this series is almost as rewarding as reading it for the first time. There are so many things we see in a different light and understand better.
I’ll try to keep my comments focused on the current events to avoid spoilers.

I love the blog! I’ve been re-reading Game of Thrones but had to put it down, for reasons you mentioned in your blog: it’s just too painful to see your favorite characters die! But reading your blog has encouraged me to finish reading the book, however painful certain scenes are, because there are also really thrilling and exciting parts too. Thanks!
